Update on Vixen’s funding

While Vixen has secured funding for the next two years, recent budget cuts mean we are losing a few of our staff.

But we’re still here for you! We'll continue to be open Tuesday - Friday, 12pm - 6pm in Brunswick.

What will this mean for peer support?

We’ll have 6 (incredible, talented) staff members, so we might take longer to get back to inquiries. Rest assured we will do everything we can to get back to you as fast as possible. We're still doing outreach, and you can still call us, send us emails and DMs, and visit our office!

Will the peer counselling service still be available?

Unfortunately, we’re no longer able to run our peer counselling service.

It’s been such a privilege to be able to offer this service to our community, and we’re incredibly sad to see it go. If you're looking for a sex worker-friendly therapist, get in touch with us for a referral!

Will you still be responding to DMs on Instagram?

We absolutely will be! DMs just might take a little longer to get to, because we no longer have a communications staff member. If it’s urgent, consider calling or dropping by in person, or giving the message a boost if it’s been a while!

Is the Whoredrobe still available?

Absolutely! Feel free to come in from 12pm -to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday, and drop (clean) clothes off or pick something up for yourself!

Can I still come in for supplies?

Absolutely! Feel free to come in any time from 12pm to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday, to pick up sponges, dental dams, condoms, and fit packs.
