NAIDOC Week 2024: Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud

Happy NAIDOC week to all mob - a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s history, culture, community, accomplishments and resistance.

This NAIDOC week and every day, Vixen pays our respects and acknowledges the strength, resilience, power and pride of sovereign First Nations’ peoples.

In the spirit of this year’s NAIDOC theme; Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud, Vixen especially celebrates the proud achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sex workers in our communities and movement. We see your power burning bright in staunch advocacy, tireless mutual aid and leading the way toward shared decolonised liberation!

We stand in solidarity with Blak sex workers and all First Nations peoples in the struggle for sovereignty, land back, truth-telling and treaty.
