We offer peer support for all sex workers. Our 100% sex worker team is here to listen and support with whatever you need. Whether it’s work-related tips, navigating difficult situations, or just someone to talk to who understands your experiences, we’re here!
Sex workers can connect with us for anything, including but not limited to:
Work strategies – Tips and tools for starting or changing work, navigating different ways of working in Victoria, and navigating challenges.
Health and well-being – Sex work-specific information, resources, and conversations about physical, sexual, mental, and emotional health.
Sexual health and safer sex practices – Sex work-specific sexual health information, resources, supplies, and referrals.
Drug use and harm reduction – Information and resources for sex workers who use drugs, from a harm reduction and health promotion framework.
Workplace health and safety – Support with identifying and addressing workplace health and safety concerns.
Decriminalisation – Information and resources on Victoria’s Sex Work Decriminalisation Act and what it means for how we work.
Legal information – Support, advocacy and referrals to sex worker-friendly legal services.
Navigating state, police, and court interactions – Information about your rights and options, and support and advocacy when interacting with the criminal-legal system.
Domestic violence, sexual assault, and Ugly Mugs – Confidential peer support and connections to other services.
Non-legal advocacy – Support with self-advocacy, writing letters, or preparing for appointments, meetings and hearings.
Stigma and discrimination – Confidential support to talk about experiences and explore strategies for managing challenges.
Migration – Visa and immigration support, advocacy, information, resources, and legal referrals for migrant sex workers.
Housing – Support with crisis accommodation, transitional housing, and tenancy issues.
Finance – Referrals to sex worker-friendly accountants and support with accessing financial assistance.
Peer bereavement – Support following the loss of a fellow sex worker.
Our peer support is flexible, person-centred, and tailored to your situation—whether it’s a one-off conversation or ongoing support. We can connect you with other services and support you along the way.
